Another Kit...Dang this is addicting!

Well, I got a PM from the newsletter editor at GoDigitalScrapbooking that they wanted to feature one of my challenges in the Weekly Newsletter, and did I have a preview of the posting bonus ready so they could use it! Well,....uh...I've been pretty busy, but let me see what I can do! 6 hours later, this is what I had.....


This kit was inspired by the dress of a lady sitting next to me at church Sunday...how's that for inspiration? Anyway, if you like it, run along to GoDigitalScrapbooking and make a layout for the Principles and Elements of Design Challenge that runs through August 15th. That's all you have to do! It will be fun, I promise! I'd love to give it to you!

I finished my WEEK TWO Kit

Here's my finished kit for week two! I'm glad to have it done, and relieved to like it pretty well. Voting on round two doesn't start until the 3rd of August, I believe, so remember to head on over there this weekend and vote! The image is clickable and will deliver you there... Ok so, FUNNY story. Yesterday I came across this cute little site called Digital Scrap Garden, and as I'm wandering through I find this Designer Contest announcement....the only problem is that they'd just started voting on their first round. Well, since the closing date for the first round hadn't come yet, I emailed and asked if they were still accepting participants. They said sure, and so for the next 4 HOURS I worked feverishly to put something together with the color palette provided for round one of the competition. My husband and kids were AWESOME and took over the household while I sequestered myself in my "thinking/doing" space. I finished and am pretty happy with what I was able to LITERALLY throw together. The thing is I NEED YOUR VOTES TO WIN! If you love me (thanks, family who don't give two hoots about digiscrapping), or if you like what I've designed, please PLEASE go and vote for my kit. There will be four rounds, so check back each week, and I'll post the preview of my kit, and the link to go vote (certainly if you like another kit more than mine, FOLLOW your heart...I just won't ever speak to you again LOL). I'm gettin' there!!

Wow, there are just so many details to work on....I was not happy with the way my blog was looking...tooooo busy, and then I looked at it from my PC downstairs..WHAT!!!! It didn't look at all like it looked on my laptop upstairs...so I've spent the afternoon working on it. I've finally got it looking a little better....a little easier on the eye. I'm working on lots of fun stuff and I'm designing a small part of a big massive collab kit that will be available in October! I'll have freebies posted soon....promise!
