Help me out!!

So, after 9 years and 6 kids, my husband and I have never managed to do anything more than maybe run out for dinner on Valentine's Day (or, you know, the night before or the night after...anything to avoid the crowds, LOL). And I'm not necessarily rollin' in the dough, if you know what I mean. But I'd love to plan something FUN and adventurous for Valentine's Day this year....keep the mystery and excitement alive, you know!

Help me out here, and post about your favorite Valentine's Day Adventure (G Rated, of course) or what you PLAN to do this year, so I can be inspired!! PLEASE, inspire me! LOL!

I'm with Traci, don't do much so I don't really have any ideas. Just ship the girls off to a babysitter and enjoy your time alone. I'm sure that's easier said than done.

Hope you find something that will work for you.

Enjoy your weekend.

Before dd, I used to do little treasure hunts for dh. It always annoyed me that he could guess a gift, just by looking at the box and shaking it (i even hid concert tickets one year in a full box of cereal so he couldn't guess, and he knew it was tickets or coupons of some kind!)so I had to get creative.

One year I went out and picked up the new CD of his favorite band, searched for a first edition of his favorite author, got his favorite candy and a few other things. I wrote up clues to each treasure and hid everything, except the first note. The final thing was all his clothes laid out and a note to meet me at the restaraunt.

A few years ago, I tucked little notes in his wallet, his coat pocket, his shoes -- stuff like that for him to find as he got ready in the morning or to see throughout the day.

And now, dd comes out to lunch with us for valentine's.

have fun planning something special
